Danni and Charlie do craft

Two ladies and a whole lotta wool

An evening with the Papered Parlour in Clapham

Tonight was mostly all about a free event run by the Papered Parlour near Clapham Common.

Three enthusiastic crafters made their way to deepest South London and were greeted with bubbly, cake and lots of fellow crafters.

With screen printing, jam jar decorating and a quirky doily love letter concept, we had plenty to piqué our crafter’s interest.

It was a totally free event and, massive bonus, they even sent you off with a goodie bag at the end. Hard to fault it, only problem is being the bag lady I am in London it was a bit of a tight squeeze to get around. That tiny downside was paid off by all the other wonderful things though.

About thisischarlie

I'm Charlie Parker, one half of the craft duo Danni and Charlie do craft. I love crafting in all its guises, from baking to knitting to growing vegetables (which most definitely IS a craft). I am all about local - local wool, local shops, local communities. I am a novice drawer and doodler, my plan is to be better and do my own illustration zine and then hit the road with my wool and bearded Canadian. These are my dreams. Thank you for visiting my blogs.
