Danni and Charlie do craft

Two ladies and a whole lotta wool

My Craft Kit

So, it’s been a while since I blogged on here; but Autumn always seems to be the crafting season for me and, now I’m back in the UK from a trip to South East Asia, I’m planning my next craft project. That will be coming soon as a new blog post (promise there won’t be such a big gap this time!).

Today I’m blogging, because I combined both my Instagram and craft obsessions and have posted a photographic ode to craft on Instagram. Here are the results:

My go-to books when I’m starting a new project

My knitting project notebook, an absolute essential for me and my terrible memory

Needles and hooks of various shapes and sizes.

Paper, pens, felt and glue – all the essential nick-nacks I need (well, at least they’re always nice to have).

Water colours, my paint of choice and I always have them to hand for projects.

My nan’s sewing box that I inherited, a treasure-trove and essential craft kit item.

Knitting bag with my current projects, test knits, needles and home of my knitting note book.

Embroidery hoop – a crafty skill I intend to work on this Autumn.

This is #mycraftkit and the crafty things I have to hand to begin my Autumn project. Pretty sure another hat is on the cards. Then I’m keen to get on with some embroidery.

What’s your craft kit? Share your pictures on Instagram using #mycraftkit hashatg or post a link to your blog post below. Watch this blog space, as Danni is going to post her pictures of her craft kit essentials soon.

About thisischarlie

I'm Charlie Parker, one half of the craft duo Danni and Charlie do craft. I love crafting in all its guises, from baking to knitting to growing vegetables (which most definitely IS a craft). I am all about local - local wool, local shops, local communities. I am a novice drawer and doodler, my plan is to be better and do my own illustration zine and then hit the road with my wool and bearded Canadian. These are my dreams. Thank you for visiting my blogs.
