Danni and Charlie do craft

Two ladies and a whole lotta wool

BOOK REVIEW: Find & Keep by Beci Orpin

Hello crafters,

As I’m sure I’ve mentioned before, I absolutely love reading craft books. Me and Charlie went into Foyles recently and spent a good couple of hours in the craft section picking out some new purchases (it’s becoming a bit of a problem!) Whilst I was there I discovered the awesome Find & Keep by Beci Orpin. What a delight! It’s  just so inspiring.

Find and keep

The books starts with a bit about Beci’s creative life and home, which I had to say made me more than a little envious! I would just love to have my own studio, or a flat with a bit more space.

Cat

It’s then broken down into “studio”, “home” and “out and about”, with projects relevant to each theme.

Home projects

Wall dots

There’s 26 lovely projects in here but even the title pages have some great ideas on them.

Out and About

Bike basket

This is the perfect book for moments when you’ve got creative block, or when you’re feeling a little blue and need pepping up. It’s so colourful and happy.

I would also highly recommend Beci’s blog for an injection of crafty joy.
